Black Women in higher education reclaiming our time

Abstract As editor of the 2003 New Directions for Student Services monograph that centered experiences Black women in US higher education, my present observation is this: although strides have been made, continue to face stalling, stone walling, and diversion tactics impede our inclusion academy. In this issue, we are “reclaiming time” refocus attention on issues illuminate current positioning as well strategies with potential enhance success well‐being next 20 years.
